Hi I’m SafetyCat
Dedicated to Saving Your Life
Remember, before you start work, look for hazards and correct them so that you and your fellow workers are not placed in DANGER.
SafetyCat may require at least 20 hours of nap time a day, but when it comes to safety, he’s wide awake.
If there’s an unsafe condition on the job site, SafetyCat alerts his owner—aka his management team (the ones who keep his food bowl full)—that something’s wrong. His message is clear: the risk needs to be corrected, and the workplace must be made safe from physical and health hazards. SafetyCat doesn’t want to dirty his paws, or worst step in a hazardous substance.
Like all cats, SafetyCat might appear to be snoozing, but he’s always got one eye open—watching for danger.
He’ll never risk his life for the job, because he knows his life matters more than the work.

Safety Goals
I want to create a world where all humans are protected by their workplaces, and goet to go home safe & healthy. I will do this by helping create safe work practices and select the right PPE to protect human workers.
Preventing Heat Stress
Shade and Water is the best way to keep cool, but hey, I’m stuck with the fur coat. In Nevada, there is a new heat illness standard that requires a written workplace heat illness plan. We can help you write your plan and the JHAs, and train workers.
Safety Inspector & Product Evaluator
Being a safety inspector means I get to walk around lots of businesses and look for hazards. While my paws activate the IPAD, they are a little big for writting English. My mom helps me with this and PPE selections because I get treats. She however, only accepts cash.
Career in Safety
A safety worker’s job is never done. It takes a multifaceted personality that includes being an inspector, a nurse, a teacher, a counselor and of course, a cop.
My Story
Testimonials
SafetyCat is purrrfect for spotting safety hazards, while he appears to be sleeping on the job, he does have one eye open watching you. Best in The West Safety is a great safety company for SafetyCat.
The Local Flock of Pigeons
While we advocate for safety, SafetyCat has stopped the free lunch. Trashcans are routinely emptied and the workers keep the lids closed so I cant access their leftovers . We protest the use of vermin control and those housekeeping best practices preventing access to trash.
The Nightime Rats
We’re grateful to SafetyCat. They’ve placed barriers and caution barricade tape around deep trenches at the constrruction site to alert us that there was a fall risk that would trap us or cause us great harm if we fell into the open hole. However, we don’t like the chainlink or perimeter security walls; but hey, he should know that we can easily jump over an 8 foot wall to access the site it just slows us down.
